Strawbale House

This strawbale house will be located on a one acre site outside of Las Vegas, New Mexico. The house will have 3,090 heated sf including a basement for storage and mechanical equipment. A wrap around porch creates comfortable outdoor spaces adjacent to an enclosed sunroom. Strawbale site walls create an enclosed yard and access to a detached garage. This home is not yet built. Construction will start this summer and be built by the owner with the assistance of a local builder/carpenter.
